 BOTOX
BOTOX® Cosmetic

Botox® Cosmetic is approved for the temporary treatment of moderate to severe frown lines in people ages 18 to 65. It has been used therapeutically for more than 17 years to treat a variety of medical conditions. It is approved in more than 75 countries and remains the most-studied botulinum toxin and one of the most widely researched medicines in the world.

During treatment, very low doses of Botox Cosmetic are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles responsible for frown lines. By blocking the release of a chemical that causes these muscles to contract, Botox Cosmetic enables them to relax. Discomfort is minimal and brief and there is no downtime afterward. Although results may vary, you can expect to see results within days after your treatment.

Perlane
Restylane
RESTYLANE® AND PERLANE®

The Restylane® collection of products includes Restylane, Restylane-L, Perlane and Perlane-L. These products can be used individually to add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds or laugh lines); lipstick lines (the area just below the nose and above the upper lip); the corners of the mouth; and the marionette lines (the area that extends downward from the corners of the mouth to the jawline).

Restylane injectable gel is the world’s most studied wrinkle filler with more than a decade of use. The Restylane family of products is made of a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid. Biocompatible with the human body, these products are eventually broken down naturally.

The Restylane family of products instantly adds volume to help restore youthful contours, so you will see results immediately following your treatment. You may have some swelling, tenderness or bruising but will normally last less than seven days.

Sclerotherapy
SPIDER VEIN THERAPY

Sclerotherapy is a non-surgical method for the treatment of unwanted leg veins. Using a fine needle, a “sclerosing agent” is injected into the veins that causes them to contract and eventually disappear. The injected veins become inflamed, blood is then unable to flow through them and ultimately, the body absorbs these non-functioning vessels.
The majority of persons who have Sclerotherapy will see good improvement. However, the number of treatments needed to improve the condition differs from patient to patient depending on the extent of veins present. The average is three to four treatments but unfortunately it is not effective in every case.

Facial Treatment
SKIN REJUVENATION

Chemical Peels act by removing layers of skin that contains abnormal cells and excess pigment. If you have sun damage, fine wrinkles, freckles, melasma, rough skin, or shallow acne scars, a chemical peel may be a good choice for you. While a chemical peel is effective in most cases, no guarantee can be made that a specific individual will benefit from treatment. Multiple peels may be necessary to achieve the desired results due to differences in skin type and the nature of the skin condition.

BetaLift 2/0, BetaLift 3/0, Jessner’s solution, and Trichloroacetic Acid 35% are the peels that we offer at our clinic. After a consultation, we will determine the type and number of peels that is right for your skin.

Microdermabrasion is mechanical exfoliation that removes the uppermost layer of dead skin cells from the face, chest and hands. For best results, it is recommended you get a series of treatments and use in conjunction with anti-aging skin care products. Microdermabrasion leaves skin with a fresher look, diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, and coarse textured skin.

IPL or “photofacial” is a procedure in which intense pulses of light are used to penetrate deep into the skin. IPL photorejuvenation then causes collagen and blood vessels below the epidermis to constrict, reducing redness and age lines. The procedure involves only minimal discomfort, while the redness and swelling that sometimes occur after treatment disappear shortly. Most benefits of a photofacial occur gradually in the weeks following treatment.

IPL photorejuvenation can be used to treat redness caused by acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and facial veins, as well as the fine lines and wrinkles caused by aging or sun damage. And if your skin has been discolored as a result of smoking, alcohol use, or hormonal changes, an IPL™ photofacial can smooth and refine your complexion. However, certain factors, including dark or deeply tanned skin, may make certain people ineligible for IPL.
